Slot machine maker WMS Industries and the parent company of the Stratosphere received approval on Thursday for Nevada interactive gaming licenses from state casino regulators.
The Las Vegas City Council Wednesday unanimously approved Fifth Street Gaming’s application to take over casino operations at the Gold Spike.
WMS Industries Inc., and casino operator American Casino & Entertainment Properties LLC are a step closer to joining a select group of companies after the Nevada Gaming Control Board Thursday recommended approval of their applications for interactive gaming licenses.
Fifth Street Gaming said Monday it has reached an agreement to take over gaming operations at two of The Siegel Group Nevada Inc. properties, including the Gold Spike, in a deal that expands the company’s presence in downtown Las Vegas.
